My first "big illustration" I was a little dissapointed when I saw the colors. But I think it´s appealing enough to attrack children and parents to the library on the market! It opens the 2 of july.

Los calcetines rojos/the red socks

My story I did for Gustí is called The Red Socks and its all about this girl who decides not to begin the day without her red socks, But she can´t find them so here starts her search. It takes a complete book to get her finally to what she wants. It was liberating to work on. I had great fun and it was even greater working with Gustí, whose work I admire. When I have time I will fisish it and maybe try to find a publisher. Although it was more a personal project than something i made to be published.

Welcome!
I made this blog to show you my last illustrations and homework I did for EINA ilustración infantil, a mastersdegree I´m following at UAB university in Barcelona. We are nearly done sadley enough! I enjoyed every minute and learned a million things. Thanks to my talented classmates and fantastic teachers, who made it all really worthwhile.

I hope you can forgive me the mix of languages, my homework is all done in Spanish. I will try to translate as much as possible.

Ilustración para revistas

My last painting I did for my workshop
childrens magazines. We had to draw a man
who could breath under water. He filled his
living room with water so he could live among his fish.
I confess I did´nt read the description so I made some
mistakes in the drawing. And I also forgot to draw 2 details.

The sound circus! We had to draw the sounds you hear in a

circus. This circusposter anaounces the various artists and the

sounds they make. I had real fun working on it although it took

me an entire weekend to finish it. It was nice to explore the combination

of painting an collage.

Cover for Cavall Fort. I made another design first and got constructive critics. This is my new attempt.

Isla de las voces

My first workshop at Eina Ilustración infantil. We had to make illustrations for the story written by R.L Stevenson the author of Treasure Island. I had lots of fun creating my caracters in fabric. These are my final 3 illustrations.
